Expected result with ^FD
SKU-1042 appears as text and as Code 128 data. Change both strings to SKU-1043 and check that a scan matches the text. ^FD supplies data; the preceding command determines how it is represented.
What should I check if ^FD does not give the expected result?
Changing visible text does not update a separate barcode field. Handle ZPL control characters and encoding explicitly for external data: concatenating text containing ^ or ~ may alter the format.
