100 × 150 mm label

What layout is the 100 × 150 mm format suitable for?

Useful for a parcel with destination, dock and readable reference. The example separates the destination block from Code 128 and leaves space between sections for order picking.

What limitation should I consider with 100 × 150 mm?

100 × 150 mm is not exactly 4 × 6 inches (101.6 × 152.4 mm). Do not shrink an official shipping label to fit: use the carrier’s required dimensions and template.

Dimensions in pixels (dots) per DPI

100 × 150 mm — Width × height
DPIWidth × height (dots)
203799 × 1199
3001181 × 1772
6002362 × 3543

Rounded values: dots = mm × DPI / 25.4. Check the actual head density in your printer specifications; some manufacturers state it in dots/mm.

Working area at 203 DPI with a 5 mm margin: 719 × 1119 dots. The margin is a choice for this example, not a manufacturer specification.

What changes between resolutions

The examples scale positions and sizes with DPI: changing only ^PW and ^LL does not scale the content. ^BY and QR magnification use integer modules, so physical size may vary slightly.

How to adapt and verify the label

Measure width across the media path and height along the roll. Print without fit-to-page; check margins, dimensions and scanning with your intended media and reader. ^LL does not replace sensor calibration.
